Instructions

Step 1. Invite community members to sign up to pitch.

Step 2. Have entrepreneurs pitch their businesses, Problem Slide, Solution Slide, Customer Story Video. As a community, brainstorm future ideas, ways to expand, ways to increase production, distribution, and trade.

Step 3. Document all future business development opportunities, ideas, feedback, future infrastructure, and advocate for future initiatives and business expansion.

Details:

Review customer stories, work in small groups, assign topics to groups to investigate. Together, create a joint economic development plan with each group focusing on a particular topic.

How can we build upon our market prototype and design our community's future consumption while preparing our current businesses to meet the future demand of our market? We can analyze what we have to understand what we will need and brainstorm ways each business can become a future leader in their industry in Pitch & Design.

    • Understand the future Market that is being built.

    • Provide support, help feedback to each business.

    • Brainstorm innovative joint customer experiences.

    • Document future initiatives.

  • Work as a community. Invite community members to pitch their business, focusing on the problem slide, solution slide, and customer story. Analyze each pitch to develop an overarching picture of the future Market. Document opportunities, ideas, and future initiatives. Then advocate for future initiatives.

  • Step 1. Play the simulation of your customer story.

    Step 2. Collaborate to review each traction channel and reflect on which marketing approaches would work to engage the customer identified in the simulation of the customer story.

    Step 3. List marketing approaches that could be useful in engaging the target demographic.

    Step 4. Reflect on the marketing approaches listed. Collaborate and brainstorm a marketing strategy based on the simulation of the customer story.

    • Set up the event like a pitch competition.

    • Communicate expectations for the pitch and even attire.
